The Creative Process works from within, transforming energy and information into new forms of meaning.
Whether we call it evolution, change, creativity or chaos, the creative process transforms the universe.
In the creative paradigm, we see more, not less. We embrace wholeness, not fragmentation. We create more pie, rather than continually dividing the pie that already exists. We choose to create new answers that shape change. We proactively choose a direction toward what we want - whether or not it yet exists, rather than reactively responding to that which already exists.
Creators generate value - more opportunity, capacity, abundance, potential . . . more pie.

You can’t shrink your way to greatness.

The creative process is the evolutionary process, the process by which all change, growth and learning - both personal and collective - occurs, and by which we expand our capacity to adapt to a constantly changing Universe. As we engage in the creative process - individually or in concert with others - we learn, grow, adapt and expand our own capacity, as well as that of the whole.
Fundamentally, the creative process, then, is the change process, the growth process, the learning process.
Most importantly, by definition, the creative process is also the leadership process.
Creators are those who envision and create what does not yet exist, but What Can Be.

Co-Creation
Clearly, we recognize we must learn to create new answers for our world; we consciously acknowledge that the old ways of thinking and operating are no longer adequate, that "if we keep doing what we have been doing, we will keep getting what we've always gotten."
It is the creative process that holds the power to shift us out of this all-too-common "learning disability," into the mode of creative, conscious choice, where we not only learn to adapt to an ever-changing environment, but also, through our proactive, creative choices, to shape the future itself.
Creators envision the potential in as yet uncharted space, venture forward into higher realms of possibility where no one has gone before, and lead us into promised lands.
Across all spheres - business and community, local and global - we have become acutely aware of the need for creative leadership, of the value that creators, visionaries, and innovators bring into the world.
Across the planet, we are beginning, albeit slowly, to realize that transformational change in common areas - education, economic and community development, healthcare, harmony among peoples, and myriad others - calls for far more from us than variations on existing models.
It will require co-creation.
Above all, we will realize that this new world of ever-accelerating change calls for all of us to assume our creative power, not just a few of us.
We will begin to acknowledge the creator, the leader, within each one of us.
We will recognize we each have something that is not only unique, but also essential, to express and contribute to the whole.
We will assume our roles as creators and leaders, realizing the same creative process energizes both of them - in fact, they are one in the same.
